The North Star Library Consortium provides Follett's Destiny Library Manager, a web-based centralized library catalog and management system, for the school districts and special libraries of Minnesota. It began as a joint project of Northern Lights Library Network and Region 1 and is now available statewide through the efforts of other Minnesota multi-type library systems. The Follett Destiny Library Manager software is centrally hosted and administered at Region 1.

• Software upgrades are performed by our staff for as they become available.
• 99% Server up-time!
• Data integration for those sites that also have their Synergy Student Information System hosted with us. Student demographic information is shared to Destiny, eliminating double entry work. Current library activity is also shared back to the Synergy ParentVUE for parents.

DESTINY RESOURCE MANAGER - A SOLUTION TO EFFECTIVELY MANAGE RESOURCES

Destiny Resource Manager is a part of an integrated software platform that also includes textbook, library materials, and media management systems. Specially designed for the needs of PreK-12 school districts, Destiny Resource Manager maximizes resource management and improves financial accountability while decreasing losses from misplaced or broken equipment. It is customizable and flexible. The software does not dictate process but adapts to district process. Access is permissions-based so staff and faculty can only see and change the information for assets they are directly responsible for.
