A new feature has been added to allow users to view and attach documents to students in ParentVUE and StudentVUE. In addition to attaching documents, you can add an acknowledgement window to confirm that a parent has viewed the document.
To Configure navigate to System > ParentVUE > ParentVUE and StudentVUE Configuration. Select Documents in both the Parent Active Modules and Student Active Modules sections. NOTE: To disable the option for individual schools, use the ParentVUE and StudentVUE School Configuration screen.
Scroll to the bottom and select the Document Categories to be displayed in PVUE and SVUE Documents grid. Click Add and select the Document Category. Select Acknowledgement Required and add any applicable acknowledgement text.
The Documents tab of the Student screen displays any documents attached for the student and any options for the categories selected. Adding a new document of the same category type also follows the settings.
When a parent logs into PVUE an acknowledgment screen appears if there are any documents that have not been reviewed. They can click the link to download and review the document. Any document that does not require acknowledgement is displayed from the Documents menu.
