Recently an email went out about an issue with Communication in TeacherVUE. Please make your teachers are aware of this, as it will impact them until we have a fix in place. This issue will be fixed the next time we apply and update. For now, please have your teachers use the below workaround.
ISSUE:
When using the Communication option from the SEATING CHART, the emails WILL go out to ALL recipients, regardless of any changes in the checkboxes. It will NOT honor the checkboxes. The number of people will remain the same at the top of the screen, even though checkboxes have been unchecked. This is specific to the Communication option from the SEATING CHART.
WORKAROUND:
Teachers can send Communication to individuals using the HOME menu, and choosing Specific Student(s) and/or Parent(s).
